Stripes hosts another record-breaking fundraising campaign for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Stripes® Convenience raised more than $772,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals during the 2012 fundraising campaign with the help and support of customers and employees. The campaign ran from April 2 – April 29 in all 543 Stripes locations across Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

Stripes employees asked customers to purchase a $1 Miracle Balloon icon and collected spare change to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This year’s total of $772,486 was a 24 percent increase over the 2011 total of $618,000. Over the last nine years, Stripes has raised more than $2.8 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Since all donations made locally to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals stay local, funds raised by Stripes will benefit 12 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals near Stripes locations. Benefiting hospitals use funds to purchase life-saving equipment, invest in research and training or cover medical costs of uninsured or underinsured pediatric patients.

Stripes and Children’s Miracle Network have been partners since 1997.
