(Corpus Christi, TX) Tuesday, November 10, 2015 - Stripes® Convenience Stores announce the opening of its second Stripes Convenience Store in Colorado City, Texas. Stripes Stores will host a grand opening fiesta and ribbon cutting ceremony with the Colorado City Chamber of Commerce beginning at 11 a.m., Friday, November 13, 2015 at 2272 County Road 139. The ribbon cutting will include a $1,000 donation check presentation to Colorado City High School, special appearances by NASCAR Show Car # 88 from 10am-2pm and the Colorado City High School as part of the grand opening celebration. The new Stripes Store has added over 30 new jobs to the Colorado City community.
The entire community is invited to the grand opening celebration to sample delicious and fresh foods from Laredo Taco Company and Stripes Stores. The first 200 guests at the grand opening celebration will receive a FREE Stripes refillable mug with purchase. The new Stripes Store features Laredo Taco Company, Sunoco Fuel®, the official Fuel of NASCAR® and features 32 Sunoco Branded Fuel dispenser options which include unleaded, super unleaded and diesel with truck stop. This location features dining area which seats 30, “the beer super cooler” – a designated cooler for beer/adult beverages set to cool below 32 Degrees Fahrenheit, “the wall” – a creative space for customers to customize their cool with over 1.2 billion possible fountain combinations, as well as 7,000 square feet of fast, fun and friendly customer conveniences.
