(Corpus Christi, TX) Tuesday, July 15, 2015 - Stripes® Convenience Stores announce the opening of its first Stripes Convenience Store in El Campo, Texas. Stripes Stores will host a grand opening fiesta and ribbon cutting ceremony beginning at 11 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2015 - 1710 S. Mechanic St. The grand opening celebration will be held in honor of Stripes guests and will showcase the many convenient and delicious foods available from Laredo Taco Company® located in the new Stripes Store. The event will recognize City Council Members, El Campo Chamber of Commerce members, along with a special appearance by Former NFL Pro Bowl player, former Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks, Ken Hamlin from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with an autograph session and photo opportunity. The ribbon cutting will also include a $1,000 donation check presentation to El Campo Boys & Girls Club. The new Stripes Store has added over 30 new jobs to the El Campo community.
The entire community is invited to the grand opening celebration to sample delicious and fresh foods from Laredo Taco Company and Stripes Stores. The first 200 guests at the grand opening celebration will receive a FREE Stripes refillable mug with purchase. The new Stripes Store features Laredo Taco Company, offers Sunoco Fuel®, the official Fuel of NASCAR® and features 20 Sunoco Branded Fuel dispenser options which include unleaded, super unleaded, diesel with truck stop. This location features dining area which seats 40, “the beer super cooler” – a designated cooler for beer/adult beverages set to cool below 32 Degrees Fahrenheit, “the wall” – a creative space for customers to customize their cool with over 1.2 billion possible fountain combinations, as well as 7,000 square feet of fast, fun and friendly customer conveniences.
