(Corpus Christi, TX) Wednesday, October 29, 2014 - Stripes® Convenience Stores have announced the grand opening of its third Stripes® Convenience Store in Pasadena, Texas. Stripes Stores will host a grand opening fiesta and ribbon cutting ceremony beginning at 2:30pm on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 1201 Southmore Ave. The grand opening celebration will be held in honor of Stripes customers and will showcase the many convenient and delicious foods available from the Laredo Taco Company® located in the new Stripes Store. The event will recognize City of Pasadena Community Reletions Director; Mr. Richard Scott. Pasadena Chamber of Commerce members, representatives from Executive Director Bert Muston and board with the San Jacinto Day Foundation Pasadena Strawberry Festival and Former Houston Oiler and Hall of Fame member Curley Culp as part of the grand opening celebration. Stripes Stores will present a $1,000 donation check to the San Jacinto Day Foundation. The new Stripes Store has added over 30 new jobs to the Pasadena community.


The entire community is invited to the grand opening celebration to sample delicious and fresh foods from the Laredo Taco Company and Stripes Convenience Stores. The first 200 customers at the grand opening celebration will receive a FREEStripes refillable mug after the ribbon cutting and will have the opportunity to win prizes from Stripes Stores and supplier partners. The new Stripes Store features Laredo Taco Company, 20 Stripes Branded Fuel dispenser options which include unleaded, unleaded and super unleaded with diesel. Dining area which seats 40, “the beer super cooler” – a designated cooler for beer/adult beverages set to cool below 32 Degrees Fahrenheit, as well as 7,000 square feet of fast, fun and friendly customer conveniences.
